Three hours each way, twice a week. Set it on the table, face in, gone. The carriage noise just disappears.

Fits in my handbag next to my passport. Three breaths and it's up. Why did nobody tell me about this sooner.

I'm 6'2 and I sleep NOWHERE. NY to Milan, face down in this thing, woke up on descent. My neck pillow is officially retired.

Bought one as a joke for my brother who complains about every flight. He just texted me from a layover asking where to buy two more for his kids 💀

12 hours to Paris and I slept 11 of them. My husband filmed me because he couldn't believe it 😂 The tray table thing actually works.

Neck pillow vs Skybed
U-shaped neck pillow
Skybed
Best choice
Head still falls forward all flight
Face rests supported on the tray
Neck stiff when you land
Wake up actually rested
Bulky — dangles off your backpack
Packs into a palm-size pouch
One position, take it or leave it
Upright or leaned forward — you pick
You still can't fall asleep
Sleep through the whole flight

Bought a second one for my mom dad
He's 68 and refuses to fly without it now. The 2-pillow bundle made it cheap enough to not think twice.

Slept 9 hours of a 12-hour flight
I never sleep on planes. Never. Set this on the tray, leaned in, and the next thing I knew the crew was serving breakfast. My husband took a photo because nobody would believe me.

My neck pillow is retired
Ten years of U-shaped pillows that never worked. This is the first thing that actually lets my head rest forward, which is apparently how I sleep.

Perfect for long-haul economy
Spain to Montreal, middle seat. I didn't touch my seatback screen once. The breathing hole means your face never feels smothered.

Deflates faster than it inflates
The part nobody mentions: when you land, you open the valve, press, roll, pouch, done. No wrestling a memory foam brick back into a bag.

Almost perfect
Takes a couple of tries to find your height — start taller than you think. Once it's set, it's lights out. Wish I had it years ago.

The pouch sold me, the sleep kept me
I bought it because the pouch fits my handbag. I kept it because I did Toronto to London without a stiff neck for the first time in my life.
Questions, answered
Does it fit on the airplane tray table?
Does it fit on the airplane tray table?
Yes. Skybed is sized for standard economy tray tables and has two heights: stand it tall and hug it, or set it lower and lean forward onto it. It also works on train tables and desks.
How do I inflate and deflate it?
How do I inflate and deflate it?
Blow into the valve 3 to 5 times — about 30 seconds. To pack up, open the valve, press it flat and roll it into its pouch. The pouch is 12 × 18 cm, smaller than a water bottle.
What if the person in front reclines?
What if the person in front reclines?
Use the lower, flatter position. The pillow sits closer to you on the tray, so a reclined seat in front still leaves room to rest.
Can I bring it through airport security?
Can I bring it through airport security?
Of course. Deflated it is just a soft folded sheet of velvet weighing about 150 g. Keep it in your carry-on or even a jacket pocket.
How do I keep it clean?
How do I keep it clean?
The velvet surface wipes clean with a damp cloth. Because it packs into its own pouch, it never touches the seat pocket or the floor.
When will I get it?
